ENG IV - "British" Literature - 1st Semester
Welcome seniors! This course is an intensive course that focuses on European Literature (Western, Southern, and Northern) which includes, but is not limited to British Literature along with comparative U.S. documents and literature. ENG IV is not only an exploration of literature, but it is a class that will assist you in preparing for your journey outside high school. We will cover college and career skills while working on vocabulary and grammar to improve your written and oral communication. It is my intention to provide you life lessons and an understanding of human nature that will benefit you in the years to come. We can not begin to understand our peers until we understand ourselves and the way the world works. Through an exploration of the ages via literature, you will discover the raw basics of human nature and how to apply this knowledge to your modern daily life.
